They gave each other companionship. Neither one smothering the other. Neither one distancing themselves from the other. Each one seeking the calm soothing companionship of the other.
We do not earn God’s grace. We make choices that align our will with God’s and this results in an increase in our capacity to recognize our experience of His grace.
