Action

Action is a necessary part of change. Being is brought to pass with action. Until action is performed, all conceptualization is simply theory. The difference between theory and action is that action has been proved. Theory is a construct. It often contains flaws and potential that are not visible until it is put into action.

As people act, they grow exponentially because it usually takes several attempts and several modifications before they can achieve their goal. For example, a person may research the art of meditation, but until they attempt it, they do not see the tiny nuances that will have to navigate in order for meditation to be achieved. Navigation through the changes in mindset and belief systems often occurs, as a person exhibits actions that they previously did not exhibit. These changes will not be recognized as necessary until the actions are taking place.

As people perform actions, not previously made, they experience themselves differently. This results in people establishing new conceptualizations of themselves. These new conceptualizations lead to different world views, which in turn lead to further action steps. Through a cascade of incremental changes, the person’s character grows.

Failure will be inevitable. It is because of the failure that barriers will be recognized. Success will be inevitable. Success was probably already occurring, but because it wasn’t looked for, it wasn’t recognized. Action, and the forced observance of it, make the colors of success and failure stand out.

More important than failure, is the recognition of success. Success is a record of what works. It is a clear pathway to our desired destination, and it only has to occur once for us to see the path forward. Once a successful path is recognized, all the person has to do is repeat it. If a person attempts to exhibit a new action, and they are only successful at it one time, the whole affair can be declared a success. This is because the person now has a road map. All the person has to do is duplicate what happened. Once the person has duplicated it twice, duplicating it a third time becomes even easier.
