The Pure Love of Christ

“ perfect love casteth out all fear”

1st John 4:18

1. We trust that God loves us perfectly.

2. We trust that when something bad happens God will walk along side of us and help us grow strong enough to overcome it.

3. We trust that God allows bad things to happen.

4. He allows bad things to happen because He doesn’t take away people’s agency.

5. Adam’s fall resulted in a fallen world that requires constant rebuilding because decay now exists.

6. We trust that God knows that we can overcome all things and his Grace is sufficient to help us grow strong enough to do so.

7. We trust that grace is not a one-time shot in the arm, but rather a divine light that constantly strengthens, comforts, and quickens us.

8. We trust that God has faith in us that as we overcome the bad we will grow and prove ourselves to be stronger than we thought we could ever be.

We trust that God knows our potential to grow. We trust that God’s Grace will help us grow. We trust that because of His perfect love we will not be abandoned, even though bad things will occur. This is why our faith in God’s perfect love for us casteth out all fear.
